Anime Astral Simulator best gamepass

Anime Astral Simulator sells eighteen gamepasses between 99 and 799 Robux. Astral Team hides the sale counts, but it also made a badge for every pass — so there is a public counter for how many players own each one. This page puts those counters next to the prices, and then explains why the most-owned pass is not the answer to which one to buy.

The short version: 33% of players own Fast Click at 99 Robux and 4.2% own Ultra Luck at 799. That gap is mostly a price gap, not a quality judgement — and Ultra Luck, the least-owned pass in the game, is the one Astral Team buffed hardest in Update 9, from 4 luck to 25. Almost everyone who owns it bought a weaker version than the one on sale now.

Every gamepass, price and how many own it

Prices are the current Robux prices from the game's own store listing. The ownership column counts how many players have been awarded that pass's badge, and the share is against the 900,172 players who earned the join badge over the same period.

A nineteenth pass exists and you cannot buy it. The store listing also carries 2X Exp, created on 12 August 2026 and flagged not for sale. It has no badge and no price. If a site tells you what 2X Exp costs, it did not read the listing.

Where the ownership numbers come from

Roblox returns a sales figure for every gamepass, and for all eighteen of these it returns zero, because Astral Team keeps sale counts private. The badges are the way around that. Update 7 added badges to the game on 25 July, and the studio made one per gamepass — a badge you receive for owning the pass. Roblox publishes how many times any badge has been awarded, so the private number has a public shadow.

Three things follow from that, and they all matter for how far you should trust the table above.

The counts start on 23 July 2026. That is the day every one of the eighteen badges was created, and nothing before it is counted. These are not lifetime sales and no arithmetic will turn them into lifetime sales.

The join badge shares that date, which is what makes the shares mean anything. Numerator and denominator cover the same window and the same population, so "one player in 3" is a real ratio rather than two unrelated numbers divided by each other. It is also why the four newest world badges are kept out of the funnel further down: they were created a month later and would compare against the wrong base.

A badge is awarded when a player is in the game, not when they pay. Somebody who bought a pass and never came back after 23 July is missing from both columns. So read these as ownership among players active since late July, which is the population you are actually competing with, but not as a revenue figure.

Most of this ranking is just the price

Line the eighteen passes up by ownership and you have very nearly lined them up by price in reverse. The rank correlation between the two runs to −0.65, which is strong: the cheaper a pass is, the more people own it, and that single fact explains most of the ordering. A ranking that puts Fast Click first and Ultra Luck last is, to a large extent, telling you that 99 Robux is less money than 799 Robux.

Which is why the table above is split into price bands instead of being one long list. Inside a band the price is held constant, so what is left is preference — and inside the bands the differences are large:

At 299 Robux, Fast Gacha Roll beats 2x Yen by nearly three to one (24.8% against 8.6%). Same cost, same store page, and players pick the one that speeds up rolling over the one that doubles currency.

At 399 Robux the spread is wider still. Remote Star is on 25.5% of accounts and +2 Star Open on 6.7% — close to four times apart at an identical price. Remote Star is the most owned pass in the game outside the 99 Robux pair, which makes it the closest thing here to a genuine crowd favourite rather than a cheap impulse.

And at 599, +1 Sword Equip roughly doubles +1 Shadow Equip. Two passes that read almost identically on the store page, and one is twice as popular.

Big Storage is the odd one out in the other direction: 199 Robux, the second cheapest thing in the shop, and only 6.4% of players own it. Cheapness alone clearly does not sell a pass.

Update 9 rewrote the luck passes

On 8 August 2026 Astral Team buffed luck potions, luck food and the three luck gamepasses in one go. These are the studio's own figures, posted in its patch notes, and they are the only published effect sizes for any gamepass in the game:

Gamepass Price Luck before Luck after Change
Luck 99 Robux 1 5 ×5
Super Luck 499 Robux 2 10 ×5
Ultra Luck 799 Robux 4 25 ×6.3

Ultra Luck went up more than six times over. It is the least owned pass in the game, and the 38,008 players who own it mostly bought it before 8 August, when 799 Robux bought 4 luck instead of 25. The ownership column is a record of what looked worth buying under the old numbers.

There is a second reason to discount those counts. Update 11, on 22 August, lists a fix for systems that were not applying the full luck multiplier — so for part of the window the luck passes were not even delivering the buffed figure everywhere. Whatever the ownership numbers measure, it is not a verdict on the product currently on sale.

What we cannot tell you: whether 25 luck is worth 799 Robux. Astral Team publishes the multiplier but not the drop tables it feeds into, and we have not measured pull rates ourselves. The buff is a fact; the value judgement would be a guess.

The game has been giving away what several passes sell

The gamepasses were all created on 14 July 2026, when Astral Team moved the game to its current Roblox experience. In the six weeks since, several updates have added free sources of the same effects.

Runes, added in Update 10 on 15 August, are the big one. A rune's rarity decides how many of eleven attributes it carries — one on Common, up to six on Divine — and that attribute list includes Gacha Open, Star Open and Pet Equip at +1 each and +2 on a Divine rune, luck up to +7.5, gacha and star speed up to 50% faster, and drop rate up to +1. Those overlap directly with +1 Gacha Open (499), +2 Star Open (399), +2 Pet Equip (399), Fast Gacha Roll (299) and More Drops (299).

Overlap is not replacement. You equip one rune at a time, the only source is the Runes Tower on a 25 minute cooldown, and a Divine rune means banking at the eightieth floor. A rune also cannot carry every attribute at once. But the store page still prices these passes as if the effects were only for sale, and since 15 August they have not been.

Luck has gone the same way. Offering Shrines in Update 8.5 give luck for donating coins, Hero Test ranks and Spawn Boss milestones in Update 9.5 both grant permanent luck, and Update 10.5 added a community board where the game's like count raises everyone's luck at once. Update 9 buffed luck potions and luck food alongside the passes. None of that existed when most of the ownership counts were being set.

Care with the luck numbers: the studio writes rune luck and gamepass luck in the same "+N" notation, but it has never published how the two stack, or what a point of luck does to any specific drop rate. Comparing +7.5 from a rune against 25 from Ultra Luck assumes they are the same scale. They look like it. Nobody outside the studio knows.

If you only buy one

Taking the evidence at face value and nothing further: Remote Star is the pass the player base actually chooses when price is not doing the work. It sits at 399 Robux and is owned about four times as widely as another pass at exactly the same price, which is the clearest preference signal in the whole data set.

If you want the cheapest thing that a third of the game has decided is worth it, that is Fast Click at 99 Robux. And if you have already decided luck is what you are buying, the arithmetic changed on 8 August in favour of the expensive end: Ultra Luck costs eight times what Luck costs and now gives five times the number, where before the buff it gave four times for the same eight times the price.

VIP is the one pass whose effect is documented rather than implied. Astral Team's Update 7.5 notes fix it twice — once for not reducing the cost of swords, titans, grimoires and passives, and once for egg prices being wrong with it equipped. So VIP is a discount on those purchases. That is also a warning: the pass sold for a fortnight after the game moved before those fixes landed.

Most players never get far enough to need any of this

The same badge trick works on the worlds, and it produces a retention curve the studio did not set out to publish. All figures below share the 23 July start date and the 900,172 player base above.

Reached Players Share of everyone who joined
World 1 898,148 99.8%
World 2 460,564 51.2%
World 3 390,127 43.3%
World 5 312,877 34.8%
World 6 250,883 27.9%
World 8 187,071 20.8%
World 11 110,604 12.3%

Essentially everyone reaches World 1 and 49% never reach World 2. By World 6 the game is down to 28% of the people who started, and World 11 holds 12%.

That is the context for any spending advice, including ours. A pass bought in the first hour is bought by someone with a one-in-two chance of not seeing the second map. Nothing in the store is refundable, and the honest reading of that curve is to play until you know you are still playing, and buy after that.

What this page does not tell you

We have not bought or tested any of these passes. Nothing here is a measured effect. Where a number appears, it is either Roblox's price, a badge counter, or a figure Astral Team published itself.

Fourteen of the eighteen passes have no published effect size at all. The studio has printed numbers for the three luck passes and described what VIP does. For the other fourteen, the name on the store page is the entire public specification. A tier list that assigns them multipliers is inventing them, and this page will not.

Ownership is not endorsement. A pass being widely owned means it was widely bought, at a price and under game rules that have both changed since. We have shown that ranking because it is real data nobody else is publishing, not because the crowd is right.

Check this yourself

Open the experience page on Roblox and pick the Store tab for the prices — every figure in the tables above is the number Roblox shows there. The ownership counts come from the game's badges, and Roblox publishes an award total on each badge's own page, so the ratios can be rebuilt from scratch by anyone who wants to.

The Update 9 luck figures and the VIP fixes are from Astral Team's patch notes, posted by the game's owner in the studio's own Discord. Which server that is is worth checking before you trust a link to it — the invite most code sites reprint is dead, and the one with the most members is a fan server.

If a number here disagrees with the store page, the store page is right and this one is stale. Prices change without notice and we re-read them rather than assume.
